About us

The Billings Family Archive at the Billings Farm & Museum provides primary source documentation of Billings Farm, one of the best-documented historic farms in America, and of Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park, which encompasses the former home of Frederick Billings and Julia Parmly Billings, as well as successive generations of the Billings family. The neighboring farm and park share a history as they were once part of Frederick Billings’ Woodstock, Vermont, estate.

Our research materials are detailed in our finding aids, which provide an overview of our archival holdings here.

The archives are open to the public by appointment. We encourage you to contact us via the “Contact Us” form above to schedule your visit.
